How to Report a Problem & Get Help
When something isn't right, you have options.
When to report a ChambaNOW user, what to include, and the government resources that can help with pay, safety, and discrimination — plus ChambaNOW's commitments to workers.
Please report a user when you experience or observe:
- Nonpayment or attempted wage theft
- Threats or violence
- Discrimination or harassment
- A seriously unsafe jobsite
- Fraud or impersonation
- Misleading job details
- Requests for illegal activity
- Requests for prohibited payments
- Theft or property damage
- Misuse of personal information
- Any conduct that may endanger another user
Include screenshots, job details, dates, messages, photographs, and other relevant information when available.
ChambaNOW may review the report and take action under its platform policies, including warning, restricting, suspending, or removing an account. ChambaNOW cannot guarantee repayment, determine legal liability, provide emergency assistance, or replace law enforcement, labor agencies, courts, attorneys, or worker organizations.
Helpful Government Resources
Workplace Pay and Federal Labor Rights — The U.S. Department of Labor provides information about wages, overtime, worker classification, retaliation, and other federal workplace protections.
Worker.gov — A federal resource that helps workers understand common workplace rights and identify the government agency that may be able to assist.
U.S. Department of Labor — Wage and Hour Division — For questions and complaints involving federal minimum wage, overtime, and certain other wage protections.
Workplace Safety — Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Telephone: 1-800-321-OSHA (6742). Call 911 for an immediate emergency.
Employment Discrimination — The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) accepts inquiries and charges concerning employment discrimination covered by federal law.
California Wage Claims — California Labor Commissioner's Office. California workers who believe they were denied legally owed wages or benefits may be able to file a wage claim online, by email, by mail, or in person.

ChambaNOW does not guarantee a job, payment, worker performance, or the conduct of another user. ChambaNOW does not replace worker centers, government agencies, attorneys, unions, emergency services, or community organizations.
Finding work quickly should never require giving up your safety, dignity, or legal rights.
